This has been a long week. We took into already over crowded foster homes 3 moms with litters...one who gave birth Nov 29 2012 on cold concrete and no shelter from the cold at a local kill shelter. I failed to find a safe haven for two adult males however and I am morning the thought of them going to the kill shelter tomorrow... Dec 9, 2012 In the photo you will see Mia who gave birth to 9 pups on Thanksgiving Day 2012, two weeks after coming to us...she lost one pup but has accepted 6 others after their mother was shot and killed after she attacked a horse - of course someone dumped her to try and survive on her own...and to give birth to her babies in the best place she could find...very very sad... |  |
