Circle of Hope K9 Rescue

 Circle Of Hope K9 Rescue would only be a dream if not for the wonderful volunteers we have! Meet the Heart and Soul of our Circle! We have all formed a special bond of friendship that spans the miles.

Phyllis

Phyllis is a full-time rescuer and Founder of Circle of Hope K9 Rescue.  She is a companion animals hero. A matchmaker of sorts for adopters and our guiding star to keep going forward to help as many as we can.  Working every day to save a lives of many that would die without her. 

From Phyllis: " When my youngest son was 9 he sat in a kennel at the vet's office with a dog who had lost his will to live.  The response was almost immediate - this injured dog is handicapped and living with a man in a wheelchair."

Phyllis is the proud mother of 7, grandmother of 16, and the wife of her soul-mate.  She has a very close family and are very involved in their children's and grand-children's lives.  Phyllis has devoted a huge portion of her time towards rescue efforts and the community.

Angie       

Mom, grandmother and wonderful friend. Angie was essential in making Circle Of Hope K9 Rescue the organization it is today.  The brief time we had together in TN (5 years) created an unbroken bond of friendship.

Pam

Pam is the Mom of 2 and all of their friends.  She is a valued asset to Circle of Hope and helps with many, many aspects of Rescue.  She is always there in for those that need her.  Her house is always opened for the injured, the lonely and the hungry...both 2 legged and 4 legged.  She is a wonderful help to Phyllis and the other fosters homes in TN.  Thank you Pam for being there for everyone.

Donna     

Donna is a very busy volunteer for COH. She works a fulltime job and still takes on the neediest of our young rescues. Donna is always ready to offer her help in any way!

April    
 April Dunning is a volunteer/foster, born & raised in West TN, and is new to our organization. She is a retired Navy wife and mother here in South Gibson County. She is currently a substitute teacher in the Gibson County School District, and is also returning to school this fall to finish her degree in Business Mgmt. Very busy lady but has a passion for God's creatures and their welfare.

Brenda  

Brenda is a single woman who works 2 jobs on top of fostering and caring for her own small farm. Dedicated and always willing to help Brenda has been with COH for about 7 years    

Cheri

Cheri is new to TN. A mom and Army wife who has thrown herself into our world of heartbreak and is determined to help in whatever way she can. We are proud to have her as part of our TN COH family!

 

New England: 

Sib -VT-                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Sib works for Howard Center for Human Services in VT.  She lives with her husband Paul, her 2 daughters, 4 dogs and 3 cats.  Her family has even adopted a Circle of Hope dog, Gloria.  She loves to garden and cook.  Sib is also an Adoption Coordinator for Circle of Hope, a foster family and volunteer.  Sib and her family even make the long trip to NH to pick up their foster dogs and puppies.  Thank you to the Gurney family for being part of our Circle and for helping to spread the awareness that our companion animals need.

 
Kim M, MA -
 
Kim works full time in the accounting department at an insurance company. Most of her spare time is devoted to helping animals and she joined COH and started fostering for them.  Kim has 3 rescue dogs as well.  Kim is another one who loves transportation pick-ups days.  Kim also assists with adoption events, setting up transport,  and home visits.  We love having Kim and her husband part of our Circle.

Mike and Linda, CT -

Mike and Linda we met when they were picking up their new rescue dog at the Glastonbury CT transport stop in April 2010.  They have decided to grab their leashes and now assist COH with adoption events, home visits, meeting at transportation pick-up days and they love spreading the word.  Thank you so much Mike and Linda for being a part of our Circle of Hope.

Lise and Tom, CT -

Lise and Tom are new additions to our fostering community here in CT.  Lise and Tom volunteer their time with adoption events, fostering and again spreading the word on Rescue.  We are thrilled to have them part of the COH Circle.

Graven Imagery has been completely instrumental with Circle of Hope.  Not only have they rescued 3 dogs from COH but they foster, volunteer, provide COH with all of our promotional items and screen printing, completely designed our brochures, cards and our banners and love to meet at transportation pick up days as well.  Without Graven Imagery, Holly and Monica, and our poster-dog 'Gracie' we would have never have launched our first adoption event back in August 2010.  A big paw of thanks to Graven Imagery and all that you do.

A Businessman with a true heart of Gold, Rik has been fundamental in helping COH grow and expand dedicating his time and home to our COH pups and helping them find that perfect family! 

 Erika - NY

Erika too is a terrific business woman with so much love in her heart for our COH animals. She has always been at the forefront to help in any way she can. W are so very fortunate to have Erika as part of our COH family as well! 

Angela - VT

Angela is the BEST fundraiser in the world as far as we are concerned. She has been able to help our COH animals with many fundraisers ensuring we can continue to pay our vet bills and help more animals in need! 

Danielle - CT

Danielle became part of our COH family in 2011 and has been a huge supporter and asset to our animals! Willing to help and learning the ropes quickly we are excited to have Danielle as part of our team!

Rebecca - NH

Rebecca adds a spark of life to our COH family when we are feeling down, as so many of our volunteers she works a full time job and comes home to go right to work on helping our COH animals find loving homes!! 

Gina - NH

Another hard working and determined volunteer and part of our COH family, Gina has always been there for our COH animals and volunteers as well. Once again our COH family is blessed by another wonderful family member!
